2000 Trees festival announced 33 new bands playing the festival this morning head over to http://www.twothousandtreesfestival.co.uk/the-line-up/ for the full announcement.

Maybeshewill, Future Of The Left, Lower Than Atlantis, The James Cleaver Quintet, Arcane Roots, Crazy Arm, Lightguides, Jim Lockey & The Solemn Sun, Ben Marwood, Joe Summers and Gaz Brookfield are just some of the announcement get excited people its going to be brilliant!

The new Gunning For Tamar EP Time Trophies is shipping out now got my watch and CD of it yesterday and I can say it is brilliant. Released through Alcopop! on a wristwatch the EP is just more of a progression on the previous EP Deaf Cow Motel with the band sounding bigger and better.

Time Trophies and Chocolate Hooves are two fantastic single worthy songs already a favourite with me after hearing them live. Astronaut-Abort sees the introduction of a piano into the sound of Gunning For Tamar and it works really well and gives them a huge sound. The two remixes that are on the end of the EP are both brilliantly done by Maybeshewill and Junior Johnny Foreigner.

You can buy copies of the EP from http://www.banquetrecords.com/alcogft or from Alcopop! http://alcopop.wordpress.com/shop/

The band are also going on tour with the brilliant Jumping Ships
